Four people have been arrested by the Durrës police as part of the "Rule of Law" operation, which has so far led to the arrest of hundreds of citizens who are carrying weapons or convicted of murder and wounding. Regan Merdani, 32 years old, Erind Prela, Ermir Jaku and Dritan Mega were recently arrested in Durrës.

Investigations for the 32-year-old began in 2016 and as a result it has been proven that this citizen committed fraud related to VAT, through a business in the fields of production and trading of food products;

Erind Prela allegedly stole on 13.11.2023 in neighborhood no. 18, a "BMË" type vehicle, owned by an Italian citizen, resident in Durrës. As a result of the coordination of information and actions with the services of the Lezhë Police Station, the 38-year-old man was arrested in his apartment, in the village of Manati, Lezhë, where the stolen vehicle was found.

Emir Jaku is suspected of stalking a 24-year-old woman for about a year. While Dritan Mega was assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Domestic violence". The 48-year-old is accused of raping his wife in March 2023. (A2 Televizion)
