Kindergarten teacher suspended after accused of mistreatment of autistic 5-year-old boy

Another case of violence was registered in a public garden, this time in the city of Elbasan.

The police started criminal proceedings against the OB educator, 57 years old, who allegedly mistreated a 5-year-old boy who suffers from autism.

The case was referred by the parents in the afternoon of October 26, when, according to them, the children claim that the teacher encouraged them to react to the 5-year-old autistic boy, who sometimes exhibits hyperactivity and violent behavior.

Immediately on October 27, the parents were gathered by the kindergarten directorate together with representatives of the preschool education sector in the Municipality of Elbasan to discuss the situation created.

Immediately on Monday, October 30, the teacher was suspended until the full disclosure of what happened in the kindergarten.

Then a working group consisting of psychologists, social workers, representatives of the pre-school education sector in the municipality, the child protection sector, representatives of the ZVA and representatives of the police was set up to investigate the case.

A similar event shocked public opinion a few days ago where another teacher raped a 3-year-old girl, causing her serious leg injuries.
