A 41-year-old man has been arrested by the Police in Tirana for possessing firearms and combat ammunition.
Through a statement, the Police announced that initially a knife was found on him which he was carrying in his car and then during a search of his apartment, 2 firearms (a pistol and a rifle), 1 sporting weapon, 1 cold weapon, combat ammunition and a police emblem were found.
Meanwhile, the procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action, writes A2 CNN.

The services of Police Commissariat No. 4, within the framework of actions to crack down on illegal activities in all areas of its manifestation, based on police intelligence, organized and finalized the police operation "The Holder" as a result of which citizen SA, 41 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested.
During the operation, on Dibra Street, the Police services stopped the vehicle driven by citizen SA. During the search of the vehicle, a cold weapon (knife) was found and seized.
Further, during the search of this citizen's apartment, the Police services found and seized 2 firearms (pistol and rifle), 1 sporting weapon, 1 cold weapon, combat ammunition and police emblems.
