Two people have fallen into the hands of the Fier Police, after they violently took a 21-year-old hostage for 3 hours, who was traveling in his vehicle, while working to capture the third accomplice.
"The incident took place in the village of Ferras, Fier, where the perpetrators, due to an argument they had 2 days ago, for weak motives, with the cousin of the citizen H.T., 21 years old, stopped the vehicle in which this citizen was traveling, they damaged him and took him by force for about 3 hours", informs the Police.
A police officer was also arrested, who was aware of the incident but did not notify the Police structures.
"The arrest of the Police officer is following the self-purification of the ranks of the Police from the incriminated persons, those who abuse their duty with actions or inactions", the announcement states.

The Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Fier Police Station, after the notification received from a citizen that some citizens have forcibly taken the brother and the vehicle he was traveling in, organized the work and thanks to the quick investigative operational actions, finalized the coded police operation "Ferras", during which it became possible to unravel the incident and arrest two of the perpetrators, citizens K. B., 26 years old and E. A., 25 years old, residents of Fier, as well as working to capture the other accomplice, citizens A. Z., 32 years old, resident in Mallakastër, for the criminal offenses "Illegal deprivation of liberty", "Destruction of property". and "Theft with violence" carried out in cooperation.
The investigative actions showed that the incident took place in the village of Ferras, Fier, where the perpetrators, due to an argument they had 2 days ago, for weak motives, with the cousin of the citizen H. T., 21 years old, stopped the vehicle in which he citizen was traveling, they damaged him and took him by force for about 3 hours.
Also, from the investigation, it was found that the police officer G. Y., 31 years old, a resident of Fier, with the duty of service corps in the "Eagle" Special Force section, was aware of the incident but did not notify the Police structures, for who was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Disqualification of the crime" and "Abuse of duty".
The vehicle in which the perpetrators forcibly took the 21-year-old was seized, as well as the vehicle in which the 21-year-old was traveling, which the perpetrators had taken and hid in the village of Ferras.
The materials will be transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, for further procedural actions.
The arrest of the Police officer is following the self-cleansing of the ranks of the Police from incriminated persons, those who abuse their duty by actions or inactions.
