A doctor in the hospital of Fier and a nurse have fallen into the hands of the Police after taking 2,000 Lek bribes each to give Methadone to a citizen, in violation of the law/rules for the sale of this medication.
The toxicologist doctor with the initials LB, 64 years old, resident in Fier, and the nurse EM, 36 years old, are accused of passive corruption of persons exercising public functions and abuse of office.
They were arrested after the publication in the media of two cases of giving the drug Methadone, contrary to the law and the rules for its use.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions. (A2 Televizion)
