Other details have emerged regarding the Police operation, where 11 people were arrested for exploiting foreign girls for prostitution.
The names of some of those arrested are: 'Esmerald Sulollari, Elona Muraj, Yuly Gomez, Liliana Valencia, Nicol Benitez, Stefania Marin, Nicole Bertel and Anisa Brahaj.
Sources for A2 CNN indicate that among those arrested is a police officer, Anisa Brahja. She had the role of providing assistance in criminal activity, announcing if there would be police operations.
According to the investigation, it turned out that the Colombian citizen, the organizer of this activity, had hired a taxi driver in our country who would pick up foreign girls in Rinas, while at the same time sending her money abroad, to Colombia, via Bitcoin. The prices paid by the clients ranged from 200 to 250 euros.
The criminal group had forced around 50 foreign girls to work as prostitutes in unsafe conditions.
In connection with this operation, 9 measures of imprisonment and 2 house arrest have been issued, because they are mothers with young children. According to sources, the organizer was a 48-year-old Colombian citizen, Gabriela Martinez, who is wanted. The criminal activity was carried out in rented apartments, on AirBNB.

The arrests were made by prosecutorial order and court decision in Tirana, while additional details about this operation are expected in the coming hours.

11 security measures are executed, 8 citizens are arrested, and 3 others are declared wanted.
44 foreign nationals from Latin America are being prosecuted for prostitution.
The Section for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking, as a result of a several-month investigation with special investigation methods, in cooperation with the Tirana DVP Operational Unit and the Police Supervision Agency, under the direction of the Prosecution, organized and finalized the police operation "Orchid" as a result of which 11 security measures were executed, specifically:
-Arrest and imprisonment for citizen ES, 39 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Trafficking in adult persons" committed in collaboration with, "Exploitation of prostitution";
-House arrest for citizen EM, 47 years old, as a suspect for the criminal offenses of "Trafficking in adult persons" committed in collaboration with, "Exploitation of prostitution";
-Arrest and imprisonment for citizen YG, 33 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Prostitution", "Exploitation of prostitution" and "Maintaining premises for prostitution";
-Arrest and imprisonment for citizen LV, 23 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Prostitution", "Exploitation of prostitution" and "Maintaining premises for prostitution";
-Arrest in prison for citizen N. B, 27 years old, for the criminal offense of "Prostitution", "Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth" and "False statement before a judicial police officer";
-Arrest and imprisonment for citizen SM, 29 years old, for the criminal offense of "Prostitution" and "Maintaining premises for prostitution";
-Arrest and imprisonment for citizen NB, 27 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Prostitution" and "Maintaining premises for prostitution":
-House arrest for citizen AB, 34 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Prostitution" and "Maintaining premises for prostitution".
Three citizens suspected of being involved in this criminal activity were also declared wanted.
Citizen GR, 47 years old (wanted), ran this activity from Colombia and in Albania collaborated with citizen ES, the latter being the person responsible for ensuring the conditions in Albania to practice prostitution.
The investigation also revealed that citizen G. R. and citizen E. S. collaborated with Colombian citizens and with citizens E. M. and A. B. (police officers) to accommodate and adapt the premises where these citizens would practice prostitution.
Work is underway to capture the 3 wanted citizens and complete legal documentation of the event.
