The hearing for former prime minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00. Lawyer Genc Gjokutaj said that the former prime minister's son-in-law was also present at the session, who explained the privatization procedures in detail.
According to the lawyer, the security measures imposed on Sali Berisha and Jamarbër Malltez are not valid, while he considered the whole process a farce.
"The session was postponed until tomorrow at 11:00 for the announcement of the decision. We have requested all requests in the first instance to the Court of Appeal to ascertain them and to restore this process on the legal tracks. Mr. Malltezi explained the whole procedure of privatization and profiting of the property and all that normality of that procedure which is surprising how it can be raised to the level of a criminal process.
