Pogradec police have managed to identify the person who hit a 55-year-old man with a vehicle and left the scene of the accident.
"After intensive pursuit and checks by the Police, the driver of the vehicle, citizen DJ, 29 years old, has been identified and is wanted. Specialists of the Road Traffic Sector, after intensive checks and monitoring of cameras in the area where the accident occurred, have made it possible to identify the vehicle and its driver, who left the scene of the accident," reads the police announcement, writes A2.
At around 18:45, in the village of Mëmëlisht, this citizen, with the vehicle he was driving, hit citizen IM, 55 years old, a pedestrian, who died as a result of the injuries she sustained.
The search for the 29-year-old continues.
