Himara police officers have arrested in record time the perpetrator of the gunshot wound, which occurred after two in the morning at a bar in Borsh.

The Blues explain that 42-year-old Hekuran Çelaj was arrested after shooting his friend with an automatic weapon.

"The services of the Himara Police Commissariat, after being notified of a conflict that occurred in a bar in Borsh, at around 02:20 on 31.07.2025, were immediately engaged, going to the scene. From the preliminary investigative actions and the examination of the film footage, it is suspected that after a conflict between several citizens, citizen H. Ç. has wounded with an automatic firearm, citizen E. Sh., 33 years old, resident of Krujë, who is out of danger to his life. The suspected perpetrator, citizen H. Ç., 42 years old, resident of Borsh, has been located and escorted to the premises of the Vlora Police Station, for further procedural actions", the police announce.

Several other citizens involved in this conflict were also escorted, where the young man was injured in the hand.

The investigative group, composed of specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the Vlora Police Department, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work to clarify the circumstances, find the firearm suspected of being used, and fully document the legality of this event.
