A Kosovar citizen has been criminally prosecuted after being caught at the Morina border crossing with several thousand undeclared euros.
The Border Police Services stopped a vehicle that was attempting to enter the territory of Albania, where during the search they found 26,000 euros. The police have seized the amount of money as material evidence, while against the citizen AS, 35 years old, resident in Kosovo, proceedings have been initiated in a free state for the criminal offense of "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border".
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Kukës for further legal action. (A2 Televizion)
