The Prosecutor's Office of Fier has seized 37 properties worth 2.5 million euros owned by two brothers with the initials JH and GH. According to the Prosecutor's Office, they are involved in the criminal activity of narcotics. Among the seized assets are immovable and movable assets, bank accounts, monetary sums and assets of commercial companies, suspected to be derived from their criminal activity.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction has registered property proceedings no. 2, of 2023, which is related to assets in direct and indirect possession of JH and GH citizens, which are suspected to be derived from the criminal activity of narcotics trafficking abroad. This property proceeding was registered according to law 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On the prevention and attack of organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against property", amended, based on the reference materials sent by the Fier Local Police Directorate and the verification/investigative actions carried out by the judicial police section of the Fier Prosecutor's Office. The two brothers are under investigation for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", Article 283/ai of the Criminal Code.
From the numerous and complex property verification/investigative actions carried out, the exchange of information with law enforcement bodies, the performance of accounting expertise, as well as the analysis and cross-checking of administered data, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Fier has requested The court ordered the seizure of immovable and movable assets, bank accounts, monetary amounts and assets of commercial companies, etc., with a value of over 2.5 million Euros, suspected of deriving from the criminal activity of JH and GH citizens, as follows:

30. 6 (six) bank accounts and monetary amounts in these accounts, in total 97,150 (ninety-seven thousand one hundred and fifty thousand) Euros and 1,575,142 (one million five hundred and seventy-five thousand one hundred and forty-two) Lek, on behalf of citizens AH, GH, JH, BH and the subject "EF" sh.pk, near two second level banks in Albania.
The Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Fier has accepted the request of the Prosecution and subsequently the judicial police officers of the services of the Local Police Directorate of Fier and the Prosecution Section, as well as the Agency for the Administration of Seized Assets, have been charged with the execution of the court decision. .
