Vlora continues to remain a city where the revenge of criminal gangs knows no end. Such is suspected to be the attack on Wednesday evening in the 24 May district of the city, where a volley of machine gun bullets were fired at the vehicle driven by 30-year-old Kevin Hajrulla, seriously injuring him.
A nearby seller was also accidentally injured by the barrage of bullets, but fortunately his life is not in danger. While the target of this brutal attack, due to the brutality of the act, is in a serious condition and after the first medical aid he received in the regional hospital of Vlora, he was sent to the trauma hospital in Tirana, for more specialized treatment.
From the first investigative data, it is learned that the perpetrators of this assassination may be three people, two executors and the driver of the vehicle, who fired at least 80 bullets at the 30-year-old's vehicle. After the incident, the perpetrators left in the direction of Fier, where near the village of Panaja they burned the vehicle along with two Kalashnikov firearms and two magazines.
The director of the Vlora Police from the scene announced the establishment of a special investigation group for this serious event, but without giving other details about the suspected perpetrators or the past of the target of this assassination attempt.
The sources at the Vlora Police have stated that the injured Kevin Hajrulla is not a previously registered person, while the suspicions are that he may have been shot due to his conflictual past and the involvement in criminal events of his other family members.
