The Berat Court announced today the verdict finding Byniamin Hajro guilty, who was charged with the criminal offense of "premeditated murder".
Prosecutor Eni Çulli from the prosecution requested a sentence of 25 years for Hajro, a measure that was also upheld by the trial panel headed by Ardiola Çela, writes A2 CNN.
Byniamin Hajro or as Bujo Çami was known, the former leader of the Vakf gang, is accused of the murder of two young men, Arjan Avdullai and Edmond Pema, an event that occurred in 1997, where after torturing them, he tied them with barbed wire and then set them on fire in the middle of the neighborhood.
After reviewing the evidence, the court, in combining the sentences, sentenced Byniamin Hajro to 25 years in prison. (A2 Televizion)
