The 13 people arrested three days ago as part of Operation "Winter" have appeared before the Durrës court to be briefed on the security measures. They are accused of selling doses of cocaine and cannabis in various areas of Kavaja, mainly near schools.
The court session under the direction of Judge Suela Xhani is taking place without the presence of the media.
Those arrested are:
Renaldo Gjondeda, 35 years old, resident of Rrogozhina;
Rudi Dimni, 29 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Elion Danai, 22 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Rexhep Lushka, 25 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Ramazan Kola, 19 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Alesio Shaba, 23 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Rei Shaba, 21 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Endri Meçja, 29 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Besnik Belba, 33 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Serxho Abazi, 25 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Kujtim Veizi, 52 years old, resident of Kavaja;
Bardhyl Dumullaku, 50 years old, resident of the village of Synej;
Arben Xhihani, 38 years old, resident of Kavaja.
They are accused of the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".
The structures of the Durrës DVP finalized the police operation codenamed "Winter" three days ago, during which the detention orders for the 13 citizens as above were executed, while the proceedings were initiated in a free state for citizen NM, 32 years old, resident of Kavaja, and citizen BD, 32 years old, resident of Kavaja, was declared wanted.
The following were seized as material evidence: 80 doses of cocaine, 620 doses of cannabis, 2 electronic scales, equipment for pressing narcotics and dividing them into doses, amounts of money in euros and lek and 19 mobile phones; 3 silencers, 1 bulletproof vest, equipment for modifying firearms, 1 detector and 1 wave blocker.
