The Special Prosecution Office has concluded the investigation and has begun indicting suspects as part of 7 criminal groups that were targeted during Operation "Revanshi".
At that time, SPAK signed 50 arrest warrants. During this operation, arrest warrants were also signed for former senior police officials, such as the former director of the Lezha Police, Henerigert Mitri.
Mitri organized gambling in this city, and together with the Head of the Illicit Trafficking and Narcotics Section in this same directorate, Klodjan Shahini, they managed the cultivation of cannabis.
SPAK also ordered the arrest of people with political connections, such as former MP Arben Ndoka, and MP Eduard Ndreca's brother, Armando Ndreca.
Criminal groups operated in a wide territory, such as Lezha, Durrës, Kruja, Tirana, Vlora and Burreli.
As part of this operation undertaken in May 2024, 20 people were initially arrested, 14 of whom in Albania, and 6 abroad, respectively 2 in Italy, 1 in Germany, 1 in Spain and 2 in Belgium.
During Operation "Revanshi", over 4.5 million euros in assets were seized, including nearly 3 million euros in cash, jewelry, and watches. (A2 Televizion)
