The 12 defendants are accused of the criminal offense of "Abuse of Office" committed in collaboration, regarding the procedure for granting the concession for the construction of the Tirana incinerator. During the investigations, the Special Prosecution Office has found a series of irregularities during the procedure followed for granting the concession and there are also suspicions that the former public officials have collaborated with Klodian Zoto to prepare all the documents to obtain the concession for the rehabilitation of the landfill and the construction of the Tirana incinerator.
