Police in the capital have cracked down on another case of cannabis trafficking by mail from the United States.
The Blues have handcuffed citizens Kevin Qorpasha and Dion Hoxha, who were arrested after receiving a package containing 1 kg and 52 grams of cannabis with a high THC percentage, at a post office in Vora.
"Following intensive police actions, with a focus on cracking down on cases of trafficking in the narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa with a high percentage of THC, from the USA, with the aim of selling it in our country, the Narcotics Investigation Section, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office and in cooperation with the Special Operations Force, the Rinas Police Commissariat and the Albanian Post Transit Center Branch, finalized the operation "Package 5". During the operation, citizens KQ, 24 years old and DH, 22 years old, both residents of Tirana, were arrested in flagrante delicto. They were caught red-handed, immediately after receiving a package with 1 kg and 52 g of Cannabis with a high percentage of THC, trafficked from the USA, with the aim of selling it in Albania", the police announced.
