New details have come to light about the activities of 41-year-old Turkish man Ferhat Karakus, arrested today in Tirana, in connection with carrying out transactions worth over 1 million euros.
A2 learns that the Turk had managed to find the bank card of an Albanian citizen and through it carried out banking transactions with his businesses, which are suspected to be suspicious and of criminal origin.
So, the Turk entered the money into the system through the Albanian's card, while the latter had no knowledge and was not in Albania at the time of the transaction.
