Himara Police and Dhërmi Border Police have come to the aid of an American citizen stranded in the Aquarium beach area. According to the Police, he had injured his leg while exploring the terrain. After being located, he was removed from the area where he was stranded and transported. He was then transported to Himara Hospital, where his life is out of danger.
"Yesterday, the Operations Room received notification that an American citizen had become trapped in a rocky area near the Aquarium beach, due to leg injuries sustained while exploring the terrain.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the services of the Himara Police Commissariat, in cooperation with those of the Dhërmi Border Police, organized the intervention. The citizen was located and removed from the area where he was trapped, by inflatable boat, and then transported to the Himara Hospital, out of danger to his life. The tourist thanked the police services for the immediate assistance and professionalism shown," the Police announced. (A2 Televizion)
