If an employee of the Police Supervision Agency whose life, family and property are threatened by illegal actions of third parties during the performance of his/her duties or due to his/her duties, he/she will be provided with special protection.
Upon the proposal of the Minister of Interior, Ervin Hoxha, the Council of Ministers approved the decision that provides these employees with special protection if they face danger due to their duty.
According to the decision, the threatened employee benefits from special protection if the situation in which he finds himself requires the performance of actions or the taking of immediate measures, writes A2.
This employee will have physical protection and escort for himself or his family members, as well as protection of property. The protection of the threatened person is carried out by decision of the Threat Assessment Committee, a committee established at the AMP.
The request to this commission is made in writing and must contain complete data of the employee, as well as the facts and circumstances that his life is at risk. Upon receipt of the request, the Commission must issue a decision within 10 days, whether or not an employee is granted special protection.
