The Tirana Prosecution Service has sent Darment Keli to trial, who is accused of the murder of Amarildo Hoxhallari in August last year. The incident occurred in Astir on August 24, 2024, when the victim and his friend allegedly verbally harassed Keli's fiancée. The latter saw him from the balcony and got into a fight with both people. After the argument, the conflict degenerated into the use of a knife with fatal consequences for Amarildo Hoxhallari.
"The whole incident started when the victim AH and his friend AM allegedly verbally harassed a girl, an act that was seen from the balcony by citizen DK who then got into a conflict with the two people. In the ongoing conflict, this citizen shot citizen AH several times with a knife, in different parts of the body, subsequently causing his death. This citizen stated that the persons in question harassed his fiancée who was on her way to meet a relative and after seeing the entire scene from the balcony, he went down, taking a knife with him, while admitting that during the conflict he stabbed her several times in the arm and abdomen," the prosecution reports.
He is charged with intentional murder. "The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana requested that citizen DK be brought to trial for the criminal offense of 'Intentional Murder'."

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, completed the investigations and sent citizen DK to trial for the criminal offense of 'Intentional Murder' provided for by Article 76 of the Criminal Code.
From the investigations of criminal proceedings no. 5141, of 2024, it resulted that on 24.08.2024, citizen AH died from a knife wound, while citizens DK and AM were arrested in flagrante delicto.
