Reni Dobra's murder is solved, police: She was kidnapped, drowned and

The Director of the Dibra Police, Artion Duka, in a press conference made public the results of the police operation codenamed "Complicity", which led to the complete unraveling of the murder of 23-year-old Renis Droba, whose dead body was found on July 9, near Lake Ulza.

According to the police, we are dealing with a planned murder and kidnapping with fatal consequences. Investigators discovered that on July 8, in the village of Zenisht in Burreli, the 23-year-old was kidnapped and then killed by strangulation with a rope by three brothers, Kristi, Fatjon and Aleksandër Bushgjokaj from Tropoja, who lived in Kamëz, and the other suspect Petrit Çakrri.
"From the in-depth investigations it resulted that the RD citizen was taken hostage and then violently killed, through strangulation. Afterwards, the perpetrators tried to hide the body by throwing it together with the vehicle into Lake Ulza," said the director of the Dibër Police, Artion Duka.

Police explain that the vehicle ended up in the lake, while the body remained near sector "C", without being submerged in the water. The discovery of the body led to the start of an intensive investigative operation, where special methods and inter-institutional cooperation were used.

After a week of organized investigations, the police have arrested two of the suspected perpetrators of the crime. 55-year-old Petrit Çakrri ( resident of Tropoja ) was arrested in the village of Golaj in Kukës. Also arrested in the Astir area was 34-year-old Fatjon Bushgjokaj, resident of Kamzë.

Both are accused of "Premeditated Murder" in collaboration and "Kidnapping and Holding a Person Hostage".

Meanwhile, the other two sons of the Bushgjokaj family, Kristi and Aleksandër, have been declared wanted, and are suspected of direct involvement in the events.

"We are dealing with a serious criminal act, committed with premeditation and structured cooperation. Investigations continue to identify and capture all those involved," said prosecutor Alisa Spahja.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim, Renis Dobra, had previously been convicted in Germany for drug distribution, and had previous disputes with the suspected perpetrators over matters related to criminal activity.

The police emphasize that at the time of the kidnapping and murder, the perpetrators did not use police uniforms or vehicles, as was claimed on some social networks. Meanwhile, the police seized during the operation 20 mobile phones, 7 vehicles, a quantity of cocaine, a sum of money in euros and other evidence that helps fully clarify the case.

"The investigation has been intensive and professional. Work is underway to capture the wanted persons and to individualize the responsibility of each person involved," emphasized the director of the Dibra Police.

Meanwhile, the Special Operations Force directorate has accompanied four other citizens to Police Station No. 6 in Tirana, for whom further investigations are being conducted in relation to the case. (A2 Televizion)
