Sali Berisha declared that upon coming to power, the democrats will remove the average for admission to universities and students will receive 200 euros every month as a vital minimum. The chairman of the Democratic Party held a meeting with lecturers at the headquarters, where he accused the government of destroying academic freedom and the autonomy of universities.
"We will focus first on the teacher and the pedagogue. Scientific work makes a pedagogue an academic, a scholar. Of course, the lecture has its own weight, its own value. But at the end of the day, without scientific research, without research, that lecturer turns into an automaton. The higher education program will be drawn up by you with the best expertise, and that the PD government will do everything for its implementation, the return of universities to powerful research and scientific centers, the removal of discrimination, punishment in university admissions with it the so-called average".
