The chairman of the Movement for National Development party, MP Dashamir Shehi, has stated that the issue of property in Albania has been used for electoral and personal interests.
Shehi made the comments on the show 'Debat' with journalist Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, where he said that PD, being in power for many years, is to blame for the fact that the property has not been returned to the rightful owner.
He also spoke about the issue of pensions, for which LZHK has proposed the increase to 300 thousand old minimum pensions, where he also highlighted where the program of his political force is separated from that of the chief democrat Sali Berisha.
"Do we have program or project problems with the opposition? We have different attitudes about youth, about property, about pensions. It was up to the DP to deal with the property issue in the first place, but this work does not benefit them because they lose a part of the electorate. While I say that the issue of property is not simply an economic issue, but an issue of the rule of law.
Will we enter the rule of law or will we sell the interests of citizens in favor of personal interests? That the issue of property in Albania has been violated for the sake of electoral interests. To continue to hold this attitude, to act as if you do not understand... I do not expect the properties to bring the socialists back.
Berisha has been in power for many years. I was not in power. Berisha considers the work of pensions as he said with a 20% increase, but it does not seem to me to be effective as a scheme. I don't like the DP's proposal for pensions because 20% of a pension that is 120,000 ALL is 24,000 old ALL. And he who is poor remains poor", said Shehi. (A2 Televizion)
