It seems that Adriatik Lapaj's mandate, won under the coalition slogan 'Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet', is being put at risk.
'Albania Becomes' and 'Nisma Thurje' had a pre-election agreement, according to which the closed list would become 'null', where all candidates on this list would resign.
This would mean that the mandates would be taken by those who received the most votes on the open lists.
But it seems that this agreement may not be implemented, writes A2 CNN. This is because the candidate of the Nisma Thurje Initiative on the closed list in Tirana, Zeqir Kordhoni, has filed a request with the CEC to familiarize himself with the resignation letter that the coalition submitted on his behalf before the May 11 elections.
Kordhoni says he does not remember signing any such document and asks to verify its contents, writes A2 CNN.
Sources close to the coalition indicate that Zeqir Kordhoni is not just a name on the list, but he is a close relative of Endri Shabani, specifically his uncle.
This fact further adds to the complexity of the situation and raises questions about relations within the coalition and the sustainability of agreements made before the elections. (A2 Televizion)
