Adriatik Lapaj, through a post on Facebook, explained the reason why he placed his father Ferman Lapaj as the candidate for MP on the closed list, leading in the Berat district.
According to Lapaj, the closed lists of the "Initiative - Albania Becomes" coalition are composed of the parents and family members of the candidates as a guarantee for the open lists, in which major names such as himself, but also Endri Shabani and Pano Soko, are competing.
"All members of our coalition leadership are running on an open list, including the chairmen. An open list means that the ranking of the candidate does not matter. In the end, the ranking will be based on the votes each receives. We are moving forward," Adriatik Lapaj further explains. (A2 Televizion)
