The Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, Taulant Balla, in "Ditari" with Andi Nuraj, on A2 CNN, was asked about the accusations of Sali Berisha, who said that his name was in the "EncroChat" conversations of criminal groups.
Balla replied: "I am the person who Sali Berisha has often accused, but I have not done as he did by throwing the accusations into the air, but I have sent them to the prosecutor's office. Sir, if there is an accusation against me, go and address it to the institution."
"I have often heard these stories and twists. What others say about me, that is their business. I would never have faced corruption and crime so strongly as Minister of the Interior if I had even a small black dot in my life. So, I am very calm. Anyone who has an accusation, should do what I have done. In these 20 years in politics, for every accusation I have made, I have addressed the justice institution. I have addressed them for criminal charges when it came to corruption, I have also addressed them when it came to defamation. This is the standard that I have set. Confronting Sali Berisha carries the corresponding costs, but I will continue to do it", Balla added.
