In a conversation with citizens on social networks this afternoon, Sali Berisha has once again promised to establish a living wage. According to the leader of the Democratic Party, this is not an electoral promise but comes from the depths of his soul, when he sees the miserable situation, according to him, of Albanians and pensioners. Berisha emphasizes that no Albanian will receive less than 200 euros per month.
"I know, I guarantee you that it is a promise that I would never think of using for electoral purposes. No, it is a promise that comes from the depths of my soul when I see the miserable situation of Albanians, of Albanian pensioners who received low pensions in 2013, but they were the highest in the region. And today the Montenegrin receives a pension 3 times higher than in 2013, the Serb and Macedonian the same. Even Kosovo, which started the path of independence a few years ago, rewards its citizens with pensions clearly higher than Albania. No, a living minimum will be established so that no Albanian receives less than 200 euros per month and this is just the beginning. This is just the beginning!" (A2 Televizion)
