Enkelejd Alibeaj responded to Lulzim Basha from the Ditari studio on A2 CNN with Bruna Çifligu, after withdrawing from the recourse to the High Court for the DP seal and logo, a case won in the Court of Appeal by Sali Berisha.
Through a post on social networks, Basha accused Alibeaj of pressure in order to accept his conditions to be in the Right for Development coalition, otherwise he would withdraw from the recourse for the logo. But from the A2 CNN studio, Alibeaj said that he has no legal capacity to demand anything from Sali Berisha's party and for this reason he has given up that recourse.
"While I was in the DP, I fought this battle head-on, while I am in "Djathtas 1912" legally I am in a different position. I have no legal capacity to demand anything from Sali Berisha's party and for this reason the legal and political act is this one today; renouncing that recourse. When I started the battle with Sali Berisha, I started alone, I didn't ask anyone," Alibeaj replied.
He asked Basha to withdraw his threats and blackmail and emphasized that he did not ask Basha for a coalition.
"Never...never. Take back the terms of threats and blackmail. I have a face and an identity. I do not threaten or blackmail anyone. I am not of this politics. Since December, we have offered him a platform with Mr. Shehi, it has been offered to many others. No one has begged him. One thing has been made known to him that as long as we are registered for the elections, we will fight the battles with Berisha on the political battlefield, not by dragging ourselves into the courts."
