State Election Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi approved the registration of 3 pre-election coalitions for the parliamentary elections of May 11. After the legal deadline expired, the CEC processed the registration of the entities.
The largest number of parties is the PA-Alliance for a Greater Albania coalition led by Sali Berisha with 26, followed by the "Initiative - Albania Becomes" coalition with three parties and led by Adriatik Lapaj; and "Right for Development" with two parties led by Dashamir Shehi.
After the registration of coalitions, the next deadline is for the registration of candidates for MPs, where the deadline for submitting multi-name lists expires on March 12. (A2 Televizion)
