It is important that the member countries of the European Union understand the importance of the expansion with new members from the Western Balkans and with Albania, which hosts the second governmental table and the start of the negotiation of the basic chapters.
This was one of the messages in a meeting analyzing the current stage of the country's integration process, from negative arguments to its positive approaches.
According to European Affairs researchers, academics, diplomats and journalists from Albania and the main EU countries, the dominant narrative is the transformative power of this process for countries that aspire to join the European family.
At the table organized for the second year by the Institute of International Studies, it was emphasized that the time has come for the current narrative of what Europe can do for Albania and the Balkans to be challenged by what our region can do for Europe. (A2 Televizion)
