The head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, addressed the police officers, telling them that the protest was being held for them as well.
"We came out to protest against organized crime. We also stood up for the police officers who work every day risking their lives in the fight against organized crime, even though their interests are sold by the bosses commanded by organized crime. We came out for the honest policemen. Why do you make our voice of protest loud? Tell us, what are you that megaphones our voice of protest? How long until you get a raise, sir? Why don't you protest? How much have the prices of the food you take home for the children gone? Why don't you protest? We are here for you too", said Bardhi to one of the police officers.
"You must be on our side, follow the law and not the illegal orders of organized crime", added the head of the democratic parliamentary group. (A2 Televizion)
