The head of the "Reestablishment" group held a meeting with the citizens of Kavaja on Monday afternoon. Also at this next meeting of "Opposition in Action", Sali Berisha told the citizens that what they have started in the Parliament is a holy battle.
According to him, the one who was most scared by the union of the Democrats is Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"Now, with the merger of the parliamentary group, he received the most unexpected and severe blow. He put into action his most unconstitutional actions. His most anti-opposition actions. Multiply your vote by zero, multiply the deputies in parliament by zero."
Berisha described the action initiated by the opposition to prevent the development of parliamentary life as an "epic battle for the honor and dignity of citizens.
"...The Constitution has defined it. The constitution says that if it happens, the family loses their mandate. Now imagine where we are? He tells us to deal with so-and-so, with the pistachio, but not with me because I am above the law, above the Constitution. Yes, we cannot accept this, because the moment we accept this, we have betrayed you, we betray your trust, your ideals. We will never do it and that is why we have stood up in parliament and fight and will fight until the end for our rights. This is the truth about parliament."
As for the internal issues of the Democratic Party, the head of Reestablishment reiterated once again that there will be no name change.
"This one took our name, took our stamp. This is the same as the Nazis in the concentration camps, who took away the names of the Jews and gave them numbers, to denature them, to destroy their identity, and this says that you are not DP. My friends, there may have been some of you who thought, why can't you find another name? Another name?! Why does Edi Rama want us to take another name? No, we will face it. Because we are in God's right and we will never accept."
Berisha added that his group will change its name when he sees fit and when Edi Rama dictates it. (A2 Televizion)
