The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a minute of silence for the passing of actress Margarita Xhepa, as he was about to hold a press conference.
During his speech, Berisha said that Xhepa was a unique artist who shone on stage and screen, writes A2 CNN.
The former prime minister also said that she had a rare talent and an extraordinary power of interpretation.

I would like to express my condolences to the late Xhepa family, friends, collaborators and all art lovers of Albania, as today the most representative artist of the Albanian scene in several decades, Margarita Xhepa, passed away.
Margarita Xhepa is a unique artist who shone in dozens and hundreds of roles on the theater stage and in film.
With a rare talent.
With an extraordinary interpretative power.
She always remained one of Albania's most beloved and precious artists.
Therefore, on this occasion, sharing the pain and mourning with the Xhepa family, with all the friends and relatives of the late Margarita Xhepa, with all the art lovers who loved, appreciated and valued her so much, I invite you to observe a minute of silence in honor of her memory. (A2 Televizion)
