Berisha from Tropoja: They say no one dies for bread here, they adorn themselves

From Tropoja, where he continued his electoral campaign, Sali Berisha once again attacked the majority for the economic situation and the poverty that has plagued Albanian families.

The leader of the Democrats and the leader of the Alliance for a Greater Albania considered the statement often made by the head of government and his ministers that no one in Albania is dying of hunger to survive shameful.

"I believe you have heard an expression that comes from the depths of time and according to which here no one dies for bread. And I say this because, truly, no one died for bread, because people shared their morsels with each other. This was generosity, this was the charity of the soul. But governments, ministers who declare that, in Albania it is good because no one dies for bread, there are words that do not deserve to be said to them.

It is not a question of man dying for bread, but it is a question of man living with dignity. It is a question of man not counting his food. It is a question of those men and women who have sacrificed their lives for Tropoja, who have sacrificed their lives for Albania, not being afraid that they will not be able to finish the 15 days with the pension it gives them.

The point is that those men and women who have sacrificed their lives for Albania should not reach out for medicine because they will be left without medicine because they cannot afford it with their pension.

The point is that these young people, these children, can build their beautiful Albanian dream in Albania, and not dream about how to escape abroad and leave Tropoja and Albania.

So, it's completely different.

And these people commit an act of contempt towards Albanians because no one here dies for bread.

Or the other, his ministers, who adorn themselves as if they are princesses of sultanates. They tell Albanians that what pensioners have, pensioners live very well. That, with 140 euros, you can live normally, you can live very well", said Berisha, among other things. (A2 Televizion)
