Sali Berisha has presented the DP-sw program for the transformation of education in Albania, emphasizing that it aims to double teachers' salaries and the education budget.
He criticized the high fees for university studies in Albania, emphasizing that they are among the highest in Europe, comparing the situation with university fees in Great Britain and the Netherlands.
Berisha stressed that student fees in Albania, when compared to the salaries of citizens of these countries, are higher, and described them as a big mistake. He stated that this situation is a consequence of corruption and a setback for Albanian education.
One of the key elements of his program is the digital transformation of education, applying the most advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. Berisha believes that only through this digital transformation, education in Albania can reach a higher level and become a model for the region and beyond.
He concluded by emphasizing that this transformation requires major investments, but that he is determined to invest to double the budget and teachers' salaries to improve the quality of education in the country. (A2 Televizion)
