In these 12 years, the Albanian youth have paid the most expensive price. This was stated by the Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha during the presentation of the youth program. In his speech, Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of being an enemy of the youth through the increase in poverty, the spread of drugs, and the destruction of the education system.
"Albanian youth has never had a more ferocious and treacherous enemy than Edi Rama. If you analyze these 12 years, the most expensive price in these 12 years is paid by Albanian youth, paid by Albanian children, paid by them with the spread of drugs and the loss of dozens and dozens of their lives. They paid by destroying the school, the most serious, most important institution after the family for children and youth. The creative thinking of Albanian youth, instead of developing and moving to higher levels in our schools, fell to the bottom, to the end of the world due to the complete degradation of the education system. Fees, taxes, impoverished your families and you pay in universities, fees among the highest, if not proportionally the highest in Europe. At a time when your parents receive the lowest salaries and buy at the most expensive prices."
According to him, this also led to a massive exodus of young people from the country.
"This caused young people to leave, leave and only leave from year to year. Albania to shrink, to shrink like never before in its history. Edi Rama, in his subconscious, knew that young people hate him. Not that young people are prone to hatred, absolutely not, on the contrary, but young people do not accept arrogance. Young people, it is not in their psychology, in their formation, they hate any form of bullying and arrogance."
Berisha said that Edi Rama is afraid of the youth, because May 11 is the day of his trial and the verdict of the youth.
"The truth is that he is very afraid of you. Why is he afraid of you? He knows that youth is not just an age, or just a phase of life, it is something more, it is a revolution in the making and he saw this himself a few years ago among the students. I know that May 11 is the day of judgment for Edi Rama, it is the day of your verdict."
