The Innovation and Technology Center, Durana Tech Park, has opened its doors to the first 34 residents divided into 4 categories: companies, start-ups, digital nomads and academic institutions. According to Prime Minister Rama, this initiative will positively impact the Albanian economy.
"We aim to increase our exports and income by approximately 3.5 billion euros within two decades from this initiative alone. We also aim for the income in the state budget during the period I am talking about from this initiative alone to be over half a billion euros," said Rama.
The Prime Minister hopes that Durana Tech Park will be a destination for European companies in the field of technology.
"We give them a space so that, while staying within Europe, they can produce in the service of the EU. We aim to achieve very quickly, over 5,000 job opportunities for technology experts and young professionals, which means with very high salaries, much higher than our salaries," the head of government emphasized.
In addition to translating legislation in the integration process, the government will also apply Artificial Intelligence to services, starting with E-Albania.
"It is a matter of weeks, if not a month or two, for this next level of assistance in digital services to become accessible to the general public. The next goal is to have an Artificial Intelligence model available to develop public procurement without human participation. We will have it available by the end of next year or within the end of next year."
The Prime Minister promised to build a technological space in Vlora, which according to him will have an infrastructure of Silicon Valley standards. (A2 Televizion)
