According to Dashamir Shehi, the way Sali Berisha's group has chosen to demand parliamentary rights is not appropriate.
Invited on Monday evening to "Debate" by Alba Alishani, the head of the Movement for National Development explained that he has chosen to stand in solidarity with his colleagues by not participating in parliamentary committees.
"But for me to think that this is the path we must take to regain our parliamentary rights, to address the Albanians, what is good and what is bad... it is a scheme that we used it several times," he explains.
Shehi emphasized that, by choosing to cause chaos, the opposition is abusing the right it has to speak on behalf of the citizens in the Assembly.
"Parliament goes to the streets, the protest is a formula. Entering the road in the parliament is not worth it. The voice to speak in parliament is the weapon that the opposition has today. And it seems to me that we are wasting it. Good, bad, they can't shut us up."
Asked if he had consulted with the MPs who support Berisha, before the action started, the head of the LZHK stated that half of them know that the chosen method is not the right one. According to his predictions, what the opposition is doing today is "a closed circus, without much hope that it will be consumed around itself." (A2 Televizion)
