The results of the May 11 elections once again brought clashes in the Albanian Parliament, where Democrats and Socialists debated fiercely, writes A2 CNN.

DP MP Flamur Noka once again raised the accusations of Diaspora vote manipulation, saying that various citizens have inserted GPS into their envelopes, revealing that they have never arrived in Albania. “There are 500 citizens in Thessaloniki who have inserted GPS into their envelopes,” Noka said. A few days ago, in an interview on A2 CNN, Noka said that in England, people he knows have done the same thing and have discovered that the votes have not left the island.

Noka's accusations were responded to from the ranks of the Socialists by Taulant Balla, his party's envoy for the Diaspora votes. "You have a hard time applying the 'Basha article', I understand very well what you are trying to do", said Balla. "I was told that Flamur had said it in a studio. That Flamur had put 500 GPS in envelopes and these GPS were left in London. O Flamur, what you are saying is a criminal offense, because identifying and tracking the vote is a criminal offense. What you are doing is punishable, and if you have evidence, why don't you go and submit it to the Special Prosecutor's Office? Go there, because the general jurisdiction has no jurisdiction over this matter", added Balla.

In the May 11 elections, the Socialist Party won a historic fourth term, securing a full 83 seats in the Albanian Parliament. The Democratic Party won 50 seats. The opposition has declared that it will not recognize the overall results of the elections, which it calls an "electoral farce." (A2 Televizion)
