The long-standing tradition was not broken this time either. Sali Berisha, along with local DP leaders and candidates for deputies, visited Elbasan on Summer Day, writes A2 CNN. From the main square of the city, the opposition leader had a congratulatory message for all Albanians.
"Summer Day finds Elbasan, finds Albanians more optimistic, more confident than ever in the great change of May 11. This day inspires every Albanian to separate themselves from this regime that impoverished them to the core on May 11," said Berisha.
While promising that next year, Summer Day will find Albanians better, the DP leader invited everyone to join. He had a special message for the Elbasan district deputy, Dashnor Sula, who abandoned it after learning that he would not be on the safe list of the DP, moving with the coalition "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet". "He made his choice, amidst the battle in the men's square he chose Tiku and went to his job, he has time to think about it", said Berisha.
Berisha again invited Albanians not to vote for any other opposition entity besides the Democratic Party coalition, as according to him they are a crutch for Rama's government. (A2 Televizion)
