"You will be unemployed if you don't win the elections," Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to a follower who told him he would be out of a job if he doesn't win the elections. In the "Sy m'sy" section on Facebook, Rama said that his mission will end when the country is integrated into the EU.

"As for my profession, which would leave me without a job if I didn't win the elections, in fact, the only thing I'm very sure of is that I have many other things I want to do. Not only what I do, I do this because for me it's a mission. If it weren't a mission, I wouldn't waste a second communicating with someone like you in this case that you're cursing, but I also respect you because you're one of the cells of the living organism of this country. In this mission, I have a duty to communicate with you too. To bring the flag of Skanderbeg and Ismail Qemali to the courtyard of the EU."

According to the head of government, only the Socialist Party can lead the country into the European Union.

"Why is there no other way to enter the EU than by voting for me and the Socialist Party because joining the EU is a process that is very concrete today and for the first time, since we emerged from the darkness of communism, there is complete compatibility between our desire to enter the EU and their desire to take us in."
