For the mayor of Kavaja, Fisnik Qosja, who comes from the ranks of the Democratic Party, the blue headquarters must begin a deep reorganization within itself, as soon as the final OSCE/ODIHR report on the May 11 elections is published.
Qosja said on "Weekend Diary" with Erion Dushi, on A2 CNN, that the only way to overcome the internal crisis and defeat Edi Rama in the elections is a radical change in the DP through the promotion of new figures, whom the citizen sympathizes with.
"Without a doubt, after the OSCE/ODIHR report is finished, it will be as it is with all its own farce inside. The DP should not waste a single second to reorganize from the last section of a branch to the central leadership. There is no other way. We have very good new figures, we have been producing new figures all the time, and the result showed that where there were young, clean figures, who did the thing with heart and soul, the DP won. This shows that the democrats want change, they also love the people. We must serve the Albanian citizens with decent people, clean people, who really love the country and the DP. Otherwise, we will remain in regression and will swim in these same waters, which is his fault, we will deal with each other and let the opponent continue to be in power", declared Qosja in the "Weekend Diary" with Erion Dushi, on A2 CNN.
Asked about the Primary Election process and the exclusion from the list of candidates for MPs of the winners of this process, such as the case of the first of the Tirana district, Hysen Kadiu from Cava, Qosja said that this strategy of excluding the winners of the internal race in the DP was wrong.
"The DP situation is premature. We must participate in all reforms, in justice, territorial, parliamentary. A political party must be a participant, because if you are not a participant, then you are in vain. A team that does not play on the field will not be called a team. You have to play on the field, then whether you play well or badly, that is judged by the citizens, but you have to play. As for the Primaries, it is a mistake. I have criticized the DP, because a person who wins the Primaries must definitely be on the safe list. This does not even need debate.
