Duka calls from the square for opposition unity: Rama must go!

Although he himself has declared that he will not run for MP in the May 11 elections, the leader of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka, has confirmed his support for the opposition camp, as he appeared in front of the Prime Minister's Office to protest this Saturday.

In a statement to A2 CNN, Duka said that today's rally "creates a certain spirit to unmask government corruption."

"I don't care at all what Rama said. I don't intend to become either an MP or a minister. I intend for the law to be respected and for Rama to leave the government leadership. Even if it's not his fault because the government is being caught up in corruption," said the PAA leader.

Duka said, among other things, that it is not easy for the opposition to win on May 11, but called for the unification of all parties created after the split in the DP to overthrow the Rama government.

"It's not easy. But he still has to do what he can to group those he has. It would be good if those who have split from the DP also united in one pole so that votes can be translated into mandates. If that happens, he could come to power. Those who are not in the DP should put the interest of what I'm saying, the rotation and collapse of this government, and unite. If they are separate, they run a great risk of their votes going in favor of the majority," Duka said for A2 CNN.
