The 34th anniversary of the founding found the Democrats united. The division that started more than three years ago seems to have ended on the birth date of the Democratic Party, as the court officially recognized Sali Berisha as the leader of this political force.
The coincidence of the granting of this document by the Court of Tirana on this day, seems to have increased the enthusiasm of the democrats who were numerous in number at the celebration for the 34th anniversary of the founding of the party.
On this anniversary, Sali Berisha showed bits of nostalgia, looking back in time and made a panorama of the history of the Democrats: "When you fly back to one of the rich 34-year memories of our history, one thing comes to mind, what a fate for for us to be part of this party".
Berisha said that the democrats have left the rift of three years behind with sacrifices and asked that everyone think about the future: "The return of the DP to power for the third time will be the real white destiny of the Albanians. Our bad days are now gone. Our battle to save the opposition was done, we won that battle".
In order to motivate the democrats even more, a message came to them from former MP Ervin Salianji, who from Fier's prison cell asked for continued resistance: "It is clear every moment that Albanians, even when they judge us, even when they criticize us, they do it under the anxiety that they expect us to act. To be more, stronger because everyone's life depends on us. Do not expect support from those who have no strength, nor understanding from those who have left them. It is clear that they are waiting for us".
A congratulatory message also came from Jamarbër Malltezi, who only asked for a confrontation with Edi Rama's government from his apartment. (A2 Televizion)
