Politics should not affect the independence of the Justice Reform. This is the concern of the European Union, repeated in the meeting organized by the Assembly for the initiative of the Socialist Party to reform the modern state.

For the representative of Brussels, Silvio Gonzato, the Special Commission for Good Governance, Anticorruption and the Rule of Law should be based on the tasks given to it by the European Union.

The EU ambassador received the answer from Prime Minister Edi Rama, telling him that it is the EU itself that demands changes in the judiciary. But, according to him, these will not be done without the blessing of the USA and the EU.

The head of the EU delegation considers the presence of the opposition in the commission of the socialist Fatmir Xhafaj essential. In this request, the leader of the majority was more firm with the ambassador. It will not wait for the party of Sali Berisha, with the prejudice that it will not come and with the excuse that there is no time to lose to join Albania.

Edi Rama does not see civil society as a threat to his government, as it happens in Western countries. In an unusual request, he at least publicly calls for their empowerment.

In addition to the anti-corruption initiative, as a request of the EU, Edi Rama announced that the transparency platform will soon be made public. (A2 Televizion)
