Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a Facebook post, has called on Albanians in the Diaspora to register to vote in the May 11 elections, with 22 days left until the deadline.
"May 11 will be a historic decision due to the fact that for the first time Albanians in Europe and around the world will vote from abroad, from where they are by mail. But who will become part of this new history for our democracy must register by March 4. Because voting is done by mail and the time to deliver the ballot to each voter's home with a prepaid envelope for the return is essential," says Rama.

Rama emphasizes that the vote of every immigrant living abroad counts as it defines the future of Albania, which according to him, in the 4th mandate of the Socialist Party will take the final steps towards EU membership.
