Prime Minister Edi Rama chose to respond to a commentator, according to whom the achievements in the field of tourism were not the merit of the government, but of God who had created this blessed country, describing the head of government as the same as Berisha and Meta. In the "Eye to Eye" column with his followers on Facebook, Rama said that the socialist government overturned the bad image of the country and made the world media talk about Albania as a tourist destination.
"It is not your merit that more tourists come, it is the merit of God who has blessed us with a beautiful and blessed country, but it is a pity that we did not know how to choose the right people to lead us, because you are the same as Berisha and Meta. You are no different, so it is better to stay comfortable while you have power because God willing, your turn will come, like it was theirs, to fight in courts and prisons," wrote commentator Sali Kurra on Facebook to the prime minister.
"The merit of God! That is, the invitation for Albania as a place of honor of the global Berlin fair for tourism! Great wonder! Our good works are God's, while when it rains even in three hours as in 3 months, and when floods occur like everywhere in Europe, it is my fault, it is the government's fault. The question arises: Why did God forgive us this beautiful and blessed country when I came to government, or when God made the world and put Albanians here? Since we are the same, why didn't tourists come even before the SP came to government. Since the seas, rivers, mountains were there, why didn't anyone talk about these beauties, but only about the garbage and all the bad things. And who overturned this history of the world's relationship with us and made the world's media talk about Albania as a tourist destination? God? "But why did God remember only these years when we are in government and not before when those who made this country a mess, a tar pit with paint in the eyes of the world, were in power? And that no one was looking at them, at all," the head of government replied.
Without sparing even the jokes about the commentator's name, Rama said that he is different from Berisha and Meta and promised better days for the country.
"Hey Sali Kurra, you even put a pretty problematic name on the fake profile. As the people say: God helps those who help themselves, and we made Albania a tourist destination with urban renaissance and dignified politics and lots of other work in all directions. When Albania is invited to the global tourism fair in Berlin, it is invited because we have worked for this day. And better days will come because we work for them, because we are not all the same, but we are much different. We are the change itself." (A2 Televizion)
