Ilir Meta's lawyer, Genc Gjokutaj from the Debat studio, has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of being personally involved in the arrest of the former president.
While describing the manner of the arrest of the former head of state as an act of vagrancy, Gjokutaj argues that it was done precisely at this time to stifle Meta's protagonism in the upcoming parliamentary elections and to hit the opposition.
