Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha responded to Prime Minister Edi Rama's accusations about his age from Mother Teresa Square in Tirana, telling him that all of the former prime minister's years are biological years.
Berisha also said that Prime Minister Edi Rama looks exactly like Gramoz Ruçi's grandfather, writes A2 CNN.
He also said that the Democratic Party, just as he said it overthrew the communist dictatorship and transformed Albania, will now work to build a Greater Albania.
"Edi Rama cries out to Sali Berisha for his troubles. Now I say to him here 'Edvin, Edvin, Sali Berisha's years are all bio years. The vetting you did with your lackeys showed that Sali Berisha appears today before the Albanians as the cleanest politician that Albania and beyond have known. Edvin, with that vetting for which you did not start with how you started it, I will say that you did me an honor, you showed the Albanians where the invincible strength of Sali Berisha lies.
Friends, in terms of age, I guarantee you that he resembles not Gramoz, but Gramoz Ruçi's grandfather. So, you don't know, that he steals all day, but the strength of a man is measured by the love and passion he has to help his society, his nation, his country. I did not return for power. I was in power and I left behind what you can never erase. I did not return for money, Albanians saw what Sali Berisha's vetting was.
"I have not returned for luxury, because at my age when I have reached this stage of life, this respect and love that I have for the country, I want to dedicate to the Albanian people.
